What is Alexander-Technique?

The F.M. Alexander-Technique is a highly efficient method of eliminating stress and proven concept in achieving, in a short space of time, physical well-being and improved emotional and mental health. How does Alexander-Technique do this? It is not achieved by a series of treatments or exercises, but rather, by a simple and gently re-education of the body and mind in which the patient learns to release tension and rediscover balance of mind and body.

 

Are there contraindications?

Alexander-Technique is not a miracle cure and should not be considered a substitute for correct medical attention for the treatment of physical, mental and psychological illnesses. It is, and should remain, what it is: a complementary form of therapy.
